A good filing system and data base is vital for managing and storing information, including information on fundraising.  Your data base is your records on your computer or in a log book that can be easily accessed and used.

Your fundraising data base will have updated information on:

  • The names, addresses and contact details of existing and potential donors.
  • The history of existing donors’ involvement in your NPO, including the amounts donated and the projects they supported.
  • What kinds of projects potential donors have supported.
